THE ESSENTIAL INFORMATION

Let the journey begin.

Europe, the world’s second-smallest continent, is situated entirely in the Northern Hemisphere and mostly in the Eastern Hemisphere. It is bordered by the Arctic Ocean to the north, the Atlantic Ocean to the west, and the Mediterranean Sea to the south.

Europe is home to 44 countries, each offering a rich tapestry of cultures, histories, and landscapes, from the snow-capped peaks of the Alps to the sun-drenched beaches of the Mediterranean.

Bosnia & Herzegovina experiences a continental climate with hot, dry summers and cold, snowy winters, especially in the mountainous regions. Coastal areas have a Mediterranean influence, leading to milder winters and warmer, wetter summers.

Bosnia & Herzegovina use the Convertible Mark (BAM), which was introduced in 1998, replacing the Bosnian Dinar.
